If a person, whilst working at height was to sustain a fall. Even with correct application and attachment to an appropriate Fall Protection System it is highly unlikely that they would be able to recover themselves.
Failure to recover a worker suspended in a safety harness within a period of approx. 15mins could lead to suspension trauma which in some cases can be fatal.
This is where a Rescue System is required. During an emergency situation such as this, every second counts.
